The bed has long been a place of conflict between us pawrents and our puppers. There are many varying opinions and many approaches but we have brought together the doggos who decided to give their pawrents no say in the matter and have conclusively conquered the bed.

It is quite the tough subject this bed stuff. On the one hand it is hard to imagine a single pawrent who would not want to cuddle their canine child to sleep. A heartwarming experience that only serves to deepen the bond between you. But in so many cases canine pawrents are staunchly against their puppers plonking themselves on the bed for fear of their sleeping spot becoming full of fur. So not only are you denying yourself the pleasure of sleeping with your pupper, you are also turning the bed into a super tempting no go zone, meaning that the moment you leave the house your dog is going to leap up on your bed and fill it with fur anyway.

So what does this mean? Well, we believe that one way or another your bed is going to feel, smell and look like your dog, so the least you could do for yourself is to have your doggo in there with you. And we hope that this cute collection of canine conquerors will inspire you to do the right thing, stop the battle and let your doggo dream alongside you. You would be surprised just how wholesome sleeping next to a snoring pupper can be.

Not all conquers manage to take over the entirety of the land that they conquer. Namely because land can be enormous, even unending, so there really is only so much that you can keep within your control before it all gets out of hand. And this pic above is a pawfect portrayal of just that kind of situation. This doggo might not have managed to take over the entire bed, but he has certainly carved out a corner of the bed for himself and he will fiercely defend it if challenged. Not that he should be as his presence only serves to sweeten and deepen his pawrents’ sleep.

Oh dang, now this is a full and thorough conquest right here. Taking over the entire bed all at once and even ensuring that air defences are at the ready in case a competing invader turns up and tries to take control from the air. This is the kind of mattress mutt that will not move an inch no matter how hard you try to nudge them. And worse still, they will find a way to stick their paw somewhere really uncomfortable so that it jabs you all night long leaving you pleading to sleep on the couch. Oh the sorrow these pawrents must feel.
